Control Alt Death (CAD)

Control Alt Death, or “CAD”, made it's debut as a horror genre movie-and-news podcast on March 13, 2020. It is co-hosted by Ben Monster and Gabe Cesana. The iconic theme song was written and performed by BionicMatt. The show focuses on horror movies that may not be considered “mainstream”, although many of the films are commercially and critically successful. Ben describes these films as being the “underdogs of horror movies”. The debut episode was discussing the movie “Velocipastor”.

At episode 30, October 8, 2020, “CAD” began airing weekly as an “audio-visual” podcast on the BenMonsterTV channel on Twitch. The first episode in this version is focused on the film, “Hatchet III”. The episodes are still uploaded and available as a podcast wherever podcasts are enjoyed. (Podbean, iTunes, etc…)

Symbol is a red skull.

The title “Control+Alt+Death” is a play on the keystroke “Control+Alt+Delete.”

The October 8th episode is also the introduction of “The Attic” which is the location that Gabe C. broadcasts from.

Typically the CAD crew will host movie watch parties on the weekends to prepare for the following week's film discussion.
